Hi Shikyla, what do you want your legacy to be?
I would want my legacy to be inspiring to future generations of braiders. I want to be remember as a go-getter, dedicated, humble and hardworking person who decided to use her hustle and skills to change her life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets my business apart from others is the passion I have for what I do. I take my time with my work and make sure my clients are always satisfied and love their hair. My mission is to offer my clients everything they need to feel and look their best through all the latest beauty trends. From the moment my clients sit in my chair to the time they leave, it’s makes me excited to see their reaction to their style.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First & foremost I want to thank God because he has truly been good to me & blessed me in ways that I never imagined, I want thank my beautiful daughters cuz I know its days I would’ve given up if it wasn’t for them. Big shoutout to my sister Nerby cuz my girl been supporting me since day 1 and whenever I call she definitely got my back(Sis don’t play bout me OKAY!), I wanna shoutout my Best friends Av & Qui & Breiia for holding me down & being there from the start. My family and friends who truly supported me and I can’t leave all my clients out old and new, definitely my Loyal ones I wouldn’t even be who I am today without them.
