We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianne Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianne, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I honestly have dabbled in many different business ventures, but I must say that my current business idea came to me because I was looking for a service to be done and I could not find anyone in my area that offered semi-permanent tattoos. So upon noticing that in my area this service was not offered I thought it would be a great business to bring to my area for the women or men who are interested in getting a tattoo but not ready for the pain or life-long commitment.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I truly believe what sets me apart from others is my overall customer service skills. I have had different businesses and I can say that I have always been complimented on my ability to talk and make my customers comfortable in whatever setting I have encountered them. Being able to put yourself in the customers shoes and knowing what type of service you would expect from a business and implementing that into your business and craft can make or break you as an entrepreneur. What I would like the the world to know is that not all small business owners are unorganized or rude, and they are worthy of receiving the same recognition as billion dollar corporations.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My city can be seen as small and homely, but it does give a big city vibe.

First, we would take a trip downtown and eat at anyone of the popular restaurants which may include; Garlic Thai Cuisine & Sushi bar, Fabianos pizzeria, Flying Biscuit, or Apollo Steaks.

Drinks can be had at Art and Jakes or RPM

There mate many exciting things that take place in my city, festivals, musical concerts and farmer markets.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to give credit to my family. Whether it’s my fiancé, son, parents, or siblings I have always had their support in whatever business ideas I brought to them. I have always felt that I could talk to them and express my ideas to them without critique or judgement.
