We had the good fortune of connecting with Gregory Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gregory, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Art has always been apart of my life, it has been a passion of mine since elementary school. So as I grew up I just always wanted a career in Art cause it’s what I do best

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets my art apart from others is that I dont just do canvas portraits but I love to paint on random things such as paintbrushes, hair brushes, snacks clip, pizza boxes, etc. It wasn’t easy getting where I am today. Everything is a learning experience. I always thought I would have to go to school to be successful. But now I see it’s all about your work ethic and how much time your willing to put into your craft. I want the world to view my brand as one of the best. I want people to think of me when they think of art, not just picasso, Michelangelo, etc.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
In Atlanta my favorite restaurant to go to is Ruchda. I loveeee their hotwings. Russy hot extra wet are my favorite!!! Then my favorite things to do would be either going to an art festival in the park or an art show featuring me. Its always good vibes and great people to meet

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would dedicate my shoutout to my parents for always being there for me
