We had the good fortune of connecting with Mike Howard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mike, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
A proactive and positive mindset is very important. But the key is providing solutions for individuals and organizations to improve and grow to new levels.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a high achievement expert I speak to schools, companies, churches, and conferences on topics which include the following:

Leadership
Customer Service
Embracing Change
Teamwork
High Achievement

I have been speaking professionally for over 20 years. It was a difficult process but it has been worth it. As a former NASA Team Member, I teach individuals and groups break away from the gravitational pull of average thinking. NASA is part of my brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Thje Agenda for the day is the following:

The King Center

The Center For Civil Rights

The Carter Center

Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My late sister Jackie Howard Kinsey – She prayed for me, pushed me to speak well and write well.

Mr. Sam Wright – The teacher that pushed me to new levels as a speaker and writer.

Stephen Strother – He gave me my first motivational audio that introduced me to a new world of possibilities.
