Meet Mariah Carbajal: Virtual Assistant/ E-commerce Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariah Carbajal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mariah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create freedom of time, financial freedom, and generational wealth. Having my first son in 2019 inspired this change.

What should our readers know about your business?
I currently own two businesses. A virtual assistant business as well as an e-commerce store. I think what sets me a part in both is the personal approach I take towards “business” and also my love and passion for customer service. I always want to serve, no matter what it is I’m doing. I believe we are called to serve one another. I’ve gotten to where I am today through consistency and perseverance. I have had MANY failed business ventures before I reached this level of success. Having a strong support system and personal esteem and self motivated is what helps me push past challenges when I want to quit. It all starts with mindset so it’s important to exercise a healthy mindset daily. I learned that we ALREADY have everything we need to succeed we just need to do the work, education, and stay motivated. I want the world to know that everyone has unique talents and gifts and that if anyone can do it, YOU can. If you’re feeling lost and can’t find purpose, do a self- inventory, pray about it, then get to work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When the weather permit me and my family like to walk to the city center of Kaiserslautern (Germany) have ice cream, do some shopping, and then have a nice meal on a patio somewhere. We also like exploring castles near by, going on walking trails, and finding hidden parks, all activities that are pretty common here in Germany.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom is my biggest cheerleader. She understands that when you start a business or do something different that you do not always receive instant gratification. She’s been holding me down since day one! I would also like to shoutout my husband, sons, and friends. I truly have support pouring in from every direction.
