We had the good fortune of connecting with Gueringer The 13th and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gueringer, what role has risk played in your life or career?
How I think about taking risk is based off the reward. Every risk isn’t worth taking, but some are. The role that risk have played in my career have either helped me progress or learn a lesson to use on my next risk I’ve taken.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The thing about my clothing is that It is created from my creative side. Me being into music, drawing, seeing more outside the box, and overall being creative gives me a angle for my brand I think others aren’t able to tap into.
I got to where I am today professionally by listening and applying. I know that I know a lot, but I also know that there’s more to learn. Once I learn new things I apply It to the brand.
This wasn’t an easy process. I was a know It all at one point and time. Had to work on myself first which is hard to do. Looking at the man in the mirror has been the hardest, but best process to be able to work on my product.
The thing that I want the world to know about my Brand is that Leaders stick together and that there’s always a Leader inside of you and you’re not alone, because your Tribe is out there.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A week for a Michigan trip is a long time lol. So let’s say it’s a Thursday-Sunday. Thursday you’d fly in and grab food. Friday we would stop by a local night club and turn up. Saturday we’d hit a day party then later that day hit the local Detroit art scene (must see). Sunday hit a brunch spot in Rochester and make sure you have a good buzz before the flight.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The people I want to give thanks to is my family, friends, and supporters. Without them I’m nothing. Just another brand with a dream. Being able to meet monthly quotas, selling out products, and pushing the line nationally coming from a small city. I truly appreciate It.
The other being that deserves more than a little credit in my story is God. Many late night and early morning conversations. Having full faith in my business partner.
