Where are you from and how has it impacted you?

Even if you are from the same neighborhood as someone else, you might still be coming from different places. Where you are from is a complicated question and it elicits complicated, but interesting and thought-provoking responses. We’ve shared some of those responses below.

I am from the small town Newburgh, Indiana. I was born 3 months early and weighed 2 pounds 7 ounces. 2 weeks after my birth, I was adopted. My mom also adopted 6 other children so I grew up with a big family. I grew up with 5 brothers and 1 sister. Read more>>

I am from Tifton, a small town in southern Georgia. Primarily farm land, there was not much to do in the way of entertainment. I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. I’m the baby on both sides of my family but I never liked depending on people. I have had an independent mindset since birth if you ask me.
