I pursued an artistic creative career because I’ve always had the mindset of going against societal norms. Even as a child, I always gravitated to what was least normal or popular. As a child, I had the privledge of having a loving mother, father, and support system who not only introduced me to the arts, but also supported every decision I made within the arts. I pursued an artistic/creative career because it allows me to express my unique perspective and emotions through music and djing in a way that words alone cannot capture. Additionally, I have always been drawn to the power of music and the different genres and the ability to stir up emotions and inspire others to have a good time through my work at a young age. I believe everyone is born with a natural talent, gift or something that they can work to be good at. I just so happened to be born with an artistic talent. At a very young age I enjoyed drawing, creating my own comic books, painting, crafts and other forms of art. Over time, my talent got better. Growing up in a household surrounded by music was certainly an influence. Music turned into a pretty sacred thing for me at an early age. It was there for every occasion and emotion I was feeling, so another reason to become involved in the industry is wanting to be a part of the force that helps elicit those emotions for other people as well. Art feels second nature, like breathing for me. Allowing me to express my inner self, tell stories through creation, and be vulnerable, art feels necessary to my very being. It gives me courage, it forces me to be introspective, and it helps me share my experiences in a way that makes me feel fulfilled, seen, and brave. Read more>>

The main reason I decided to pursue an artistic/creative career is based on the fact that this is my calling and even though I have worked other jobs, pursuing an artistic career feels natural to the alignment of my soul.
