What’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?

People often ask about the best decision, but we think it’s also very enlightening to learn about people’s most difficult decisions and the frameworks they used to think through those decisions.

After graduating in criminal law, I started thinking about my professional future. The most difficult decision I have ever had to make was choosing to follow God and not allow the generational curses over my family to continue through my lineage. What I have come to understand on my spiritual journey is that God’s plan will most likely be disliked and disapproved of by the ones who you love because their ability to walk by faith and not by sight has yet to develop. The most difficult decision for me was moving from my hometown to grow as an artist, I am originally from Hampton, South Carolina. There is no scene there and wanting to be able to do a different style of music outside of what a lot of people listen in your hometown it’s hard, So I decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia and started going out and supporting the local community and from there I started to grow as a creator and artist and it all started with going out and supporting others. The most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make, was recently leaving my steady job to pursue my career full-time. Anyone starting a business know one the hardest decision is when to take that risk and step out on faith. I was working a 9-5 job with great pay, wonderful benefits, and a work-life-balance. The most difficult decision I’ve had to make was quitting my job with no other source of steady income to follow my dreams of becoming a producer. I am a firm believer of the statement “being stuck at a job” or essentially “living pay check to pay check” which is what I felt like I was doing. As you may know with any entrepreneurial job or self employment, it’s difficult to get it off the ground running without adequate funding while still being able to maintain bills and work a dead end 9-5 job.
