To me, success is when you go for that one thing you want the most and pour your heart and soul to get it. But it is essential to understand that real success doesn’t come when others fall while you rise. It comes when you learn from your mistakes, as well as other people’s mistakes, and improve upon the situation. Never undermining others. And try not to let fear dictate your path. It is not easy, but then I find myself saying, “Why not? What’s the worst that could happen?” and then go ahead and do it. For me, it is easier to take it day by day and adjust accordingly to how situations change. Success is happiness. No matter how much money, awards or summer homes you stack up, the carrot is always dangling if your sights are set on the material world. I think the trick is to find success in the journey. It can be easy to compare where you’re at with where you want to be and feel unsatisfied, I catch myself doing this often. Instead, the focus should be on your personal growth, passions, and the people you care about. Success doesn’t have to be a destination; it can be the spark of satisfaction you feel every day.
