When I left my job to pursue my business full time, it was important to me not to try to recreate the demands of my previous work life while pursuing success in my own business. The “9 to 5” model of work was not necessarily going to work for me as a business owner, nor was it conducive to the lifestyle that I was trying to create for myself. I think the pandemic taught me how to live without theatre, and I was able to create a really fulfilling life without acting.
