We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige Muwakkil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paige, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by nature. I am inspired by history. I am inspired by those in my lineage who came before me. My parents inspire. me. My niece inspires me. Spirituality inspires me. My husband inspires me. I inspire me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
First and foremost I want the world to know that Majestic Things is here to stay!! What I believe sets my brand and myself apart from others is that it’s my brand. While there may be people doing similar things that I am doing, we all hold a superpower that sets apart…people can’t do it like me. And I can’t do it like other people. It’s easy to fall into competition with others when you don’t have your purpose in the forefront. I learned early in my journey before even starting my business that I needed to believe in myself and my vision and not look at the likes, the follows, even the business others were getting. It prepared me to go into my business being authentic to my vision and to trust that what I bring to the table is just as good as what others bring. I even had to believe it was more. I am where I am today because of faith, consistency and resilience. No part of embarking to own something is easy but it for sure is worth it. Majestic Things is worth it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being that we both love nature we’d for sure visit Sweetwater Creek State Park for some good outside air and a nice picnic in the grass. I recently just started back eating chicken so I’d for sure throw that on our menu! We’d enjoy nice glasses of Sutter Home wine toasting to the Sun. I’d also want to visit the Aquarium, Trap Music Museum and the High Museum of Art. I love the energy at Ponce De Leon Market so we’d visit there too and stop for some yummy cheesesteak egg rolls from Bar Vegan. After all is said and done we’d spend most of time tucked away in house watching movies and talking about all things magickal.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out to God man! Everything I am is because I listened and stood in faith. Shout out to my mama who gone support! The first to see the vision, the first to shop, the first to share. Shout out to my husband who stands firm beside me as I maneuver through the changes of being a business owner. Shout out to my Shelly all the way in New Jersey for always reminding me of the power I possess. Shout out to my clientele who have stayed with me from 2020 to now, y’all know you deep in my heart space. And last but certainly not least shout out to me!
