Meet Yolanda | Life Coach & Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yolanda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yolanda, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Being a business owner at Nutri Yemi has been amazing because I get to meet so many different people and hear their stories. But sometimes, I wonder if I should keep going or take a step back. The way I see it, if I still care about the mission, still see the positive impact, and still feel a spark—even on the tough days—then it’s worth pushing forward. It’s not always easy, but the connections I make and the growth I see remind me why I started. And if there ever comes a time when it no longer feels right, that’s okay too. What matters most is being honest with myself and making choices that align with my values and well-being.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career as a life coach and musician has been anything but ordinary. What sets me apart is the way I combine emotional depth, real-life experience, and creativity to connect with people on a personal level. Whether I’m coaching someone through a major life shift or performing a song that speaks to the heart, my mission is the same: to help others heal, grow, and believe in themselves again. Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve faced self-doubt, financial pressure, and moments where I questioned everything. But I kept going, fueled by my purpose and the people who believed in me. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come, not just in skills, but in confidence and clarity. I’ve learned that growth takes patience, faith, and grit—and that vulnerability is a strength.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my parents, my kids, and my husband. My parents laid the foundation with their love, sacrifices, and constant encouragement—they taught me the value of hard work and resilience. My husband has been my steady support through it all, believing in me even on the days I struggled to believe in myself. And my kids—they’re my biggest inspiration. Everything I do with Nutri Yemi is to show them that it’s possible to chase your dreams, work hard, and build something meaningful. Their love and presence keep me grounded and motivated every single day. I truly couldn’t do this without them.
