We had the good fortune of connecting with Yolanda Horton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yolanda, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The single most important decision I made that contributed to my success was deciding to walk in my true passion. . My desire to help others brings fulfillment to my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career in the Health and Wellness industry sets me apart from others because of experience and actually have walked the shoes of a lot of clients who reach out to me for help. I’m most excited about changing lives everyday and giving people a sense of hope who don’t see another way. I got to where I am today by always being intentional and authentic what everything. I also stay consistent no matter how hard it gets. I always remember why I started and my purpose in life. No it wasn’t easy. I overcame the challenges by knowing when to pivot, always working on my own personal development, and seeing things through. The lessons I learned along the way is that the time will never be perfect, you just have to step out in faith and trust a God. I also learned that with your business there will be a lot of sacrifices and challenges along the way. As long as keep going and don’t give up you can overcome anything. What I want the world to know about my brand serving the people. Our number one goal is to improve Health in the community and teach people to value their health which is priority. Our brand inspires others to not give up on becoming the best and healthiest version of you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My week itinerary would include lunch outings at some the best eateries in the city including Miyako Hibachi Sushi Steakhouse for some of the best sushi and soup in town. Scalinis for fresh eggplant pasta and salad, Slutty Vegan for an exotic vegan burger, We would drink a lightly crisp wine, or sweet tea, and lemon water. Rays on the River for those evening dinner nights to just hangout and wind down. Jeju Sauna is always a great hangout spot that I love to just relax. In my view the most fun and interesting people, places, and things to checkout include VODS or Josephines Reggae Lounge, Atlanta Comedy Clubs, Stone Mountain Park, Fly Atlanta and Blind Willies Live Jazz Club are just a few to mention.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate a shoutout to my mother Luvenia Harris. She deserves it.
