Meet William Hall | Pastor, Business Owner & Life Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with William Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi William, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
From the examples of my mother’s co-worker having an perfume oil booth at the flea market to one of my classmates being known as the “snack man,” to me learning to barber in college in order to create “financial independence.”
Ultimately, years later after graduating with a business degree from Savannah State University and surrounding myself with successful entrepreneurs. My “why start a business” perspective finally came into focus. I began to recognize the necessity and purpose for starting my own business. Simply put the reason why was, “generational wealth.”

What should our readers know about your business?
On January 4th of 2018, started my first business for the purpose of conducting Real Estate investing and transactions. On that same day I purchased my first home with cash from a savings account. I accomplished those achievements as a result of attending multiple Real Estate investment classes and studying those individuals who are excelling in that field. Also, I made an effort to find an appropriate mentor. Today, I continue to participate in Real Estate investing and property flipping but my business has evolved as I have throughout the years. I operate a philanthropic foundation for the purpose reaching and aiding the less fortunate. Namely, “Blankets in the Park, Atlanta” being one of the passions I have had the pleasure of partnering with businesses such as Comcast, local radio stations and local businesses to provide blankets to the homeless.
Was it easy? I definitely wouldn’t describe owning and running a business as “easy.” There was a period of time from 2018 until 2021, where every dollar I made was from the leg work I put in from my business. With it being a rewarding feeling to be able to sustain livelihood through your business, it is a greater responsibility. Being a full time entrepreneur, takes dedication, discipline, perseverance, hustle, modesty and grit. You also have to be willing to fail and turn those failures into opportunities of education.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along they way, be very diligent about who you choose to do business with. It’s vitally important that communication and purpose is the driving force of the business relationship created to produce a result. Also, don’t be afraid to do what is necessary despite how others may perceive it. Meaning, if your business is not paying the bills and you need to start back working full or part time for stability, it is OK. Just don’t stop building your business and brand in the process. The “how” is noted in the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” book.
What would I like the world to know about my story and brand?
People should know, like many of their idols and mentors whose stories are a result of resilience. My story is of similar nature. I have a passion for helping others and building a legacy that surpasses my time on this earth. I use the experiences that I have to provide mentoring, counseling, life coaching and consulting for those individuals that want assistance on reaching the future God has planned for them. A future that display’s prosperity in every area of life.
I will continue on this mission of impacting people in a positive way through the release of my book “Fingerprints” releasing in 2023. “A guide in accepting the Unique “You” that God intended” Re-vamping and re-launching my website www..definewillpower.com so that anyone seeking aid, help and coaching can schedule a free session with me.
Also, using platforms and stages to spread the message of love, true prosperity and personal development. I had the opportunity to be apart of the “The Great American Speak Off” in which I finished as a semi – finalist, but met some amazing individuals whom share the same passion.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, I would like to dedicate my shoutout to the The Worship Center of Atlanta church. To be more specific, Dr. Wendel Dandridge, Lead Pastor of The Worship Center ATL. There was a period of time in my life where I saw myself as not being worthy enough for the dreams God gave me. Through the orchestration of God, Wendel offered me an opportunity to use my gifting once more at his church. Not only was he inviting to allowing me in the house that he had built, but the family of connectors took me in and nurtured me as I transitioned through a difficult time in life. Now, four years removed from that season in my life. I have been appointed Associate Pastor of The Worship Center of Atlanta and impacting the local community in a way I could not have imagined.
