We had the good fortune of connecting with W.C. Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi W.C., what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Following through – You can have all of the great ideas you want, but without some kind of plan to take action they will stay ideas. One of my biggest downfalls on this journey was putting things off till “tomorrow” and tomorrow never came. I had to wake up one morning and tell myself tomorrow is today!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a R&B artist currently based in Atlanta. Born in New Jersey, I was a military child and spent time in Japan, Florida and West Virginia. My musical journey is far from what you would expect, being classically trained it carries over into my music and singing habits now. My lyrics are renowned for their intimacy, throwback traditional R&B style and organic swag, blended with elegance and confidence. My current releases include “Don’t Want A Lot” and “Broken Hearted” and are both classic hits, that showcase my vocal range and writing ability. “His tone being distinct and unique as ever, whilst his ability to create a whole feeling and story of imagery on a record is second to non, using his skilful lyrical approach and of course his stunning vocals.” was a quote previously written about me. Currently signed to 31 empire management, I have also opened for the likes of Afroman and Shawty lo jr with some high profile live shows. It looks to be an exciting time ahead of me, I’m nervous and humbled by the opportunity before me. It has not been an easy journey, and I still have some mountains to climb, but I will continue to climb and you should too!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
