We had the good fortune of connecting with Violeta Garces and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Violeta, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Working as my own boss would allow me to bring my full capacity into the business since I come from a large background of family entrepreneurs. I love knowing I am able to contribute and collaborate in the film industry.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love that I have the talent to transfer myself into any character I want and I love that about my business. I am excited about the upcoming projects and goals I have for the future and see where my passion can take me. Makeup by Violeta can make any vision come to reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite places to hang out with my friends is Ponce City market.

Once we are done exploring Ponce City market I would top it off with a walk on the belt line.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank my wife Dakota for being my #1 fan she has being supportive of my business since day 1 and I couldn’t of accomplished everything I have accomplished today without her unconditional support and love towards my business. A special thank you to my mother in law for encouraging me to follow my dreams.
