We had the good fortune of connecting with Vickey White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vickey, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I chose this business because it will be relevant in 10-15 years from now. My business did not require massive funds. I’m able to help businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and nonprofit organizations by providing a platform for them. and most of all I love what I do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m in the healthcare industry and I love what I do. My show was created with a lot of love. I came up with this idea because I have friends that have their own business and was having a hard time with advertising. Advertising is expensive. After hearing about their struggles with marketing and advertising. Live With Vickey P was created to provide a platform for the community. I will say I started out with a lot of support..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend on a 7 day cruise. On a cruise we don’t have to do anything lol. I would take her to a comedy show and we would participate in Karaoke. We can eat and drink and relax all week long.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Omg yes my sister Tonya Partlow has helped me from the beginning and now. She keeps me booked and busy. She is definitely my eyes and ears. My children has supported me from day one. Donnell, Danielle, Jasmine, and Travous. My son in law Damion . Jasmine and Damion started out producing all of my episodes. Jasmine is my personal make up artist. Dominik Simmons is one of my sponsors. He saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. Cardell Gunn is another sponsor. I can’t find the words for him. He has helped me so much. I can’t thank you guys enough. This is only the beginning for Live With Vickey P.
