We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, why did you pursue a creative career?
Ever since I was young I knew I had a creative sense. Whenever I went somewhere like a furniture store, craft store or any place that had some kind of design in my head I would start picturing how I would recreate that item in a new fresher way. From that point on I started to do crafts of my own on a small scale until I started my journey in College.
Also, pursing a creative career it’s really my passion. Anytime I get to create that’s when I feel I’m in my truest form. It brings my so much just to let myself go in the creative process and just create the ideas that’s in my head to real life.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m still not where I want to be at, everyday i’m working to be a full time designer that I can live off financially and bring new ideas to life and also working collaboratively with other creatives in the industry.
What I’m most proud of is I can finally say I’m happy with the direction and designs I produce represent my brand. Though I may not have a lot out, the pieces that are out I think sets a good tone for what I like to create.
Everyday I create is always challenging even on the small scale i’m at but to get over those challenges, I just make sure I get through whatever project i’m working on so I can never say “Oh I wish I should’ve finished so and so project” you really gotta see it though even if you don’t have access to everything you wish you did for that project. People will still see the potential.
All I want to tell the world about my brand and story is simple I like to create unique fun things clothing or physical items you can use everyday that you truly love using over and over.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to say thanks to my followers who’s seen my growth when I started out until now always showing love! And my family support.
