We had the good fortune of connecting with Toryana Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Toryana, how do you think about risk?
I approach risk with a learning mindset. Although I might feel anxious. I view risk as an opportunity to grow and attain knowledge. I do not mind being uncomfortable in the presence of a calculated risk that benefits me in more ways than finances. I do not let fear overpower my lesson.

Taking risks has impacted my life tremendously and I have evolved exponentially because of it. Since I started taking risks I have learned quicker and discovered how to take calculated risks that provide value instead. I ensure I learn from my failures so that I do not repeat the same steps and subsequently the same result. The quote “Failure is success in progress” by Albert Einstein motivates me when I take calculated risks. Failure is only a lesson learned and I will only continue to achieve greater.

What should our readers know about your business?
I would like the world to know TJ Takes Productions is a video production business with a small team that can handle your dream and vision no matter how immense it is. TJ Takes Productions is intentional with the content we put out into the world. We capture beautiful moments and deliver them one take at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to the park, the aquarium, and to Lola’s Burger & Tequila Bar.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mom and my eldest brother. They deserve the utmost credit and recognition in my story. My mom is my first example of entrepreneurship and the hustler mentality. She understood the importance of providing value and aligning it with your purpose. It was encouraging to see the fulfillment she displayed when serving others and feeding her passions.

My eldest brother is very encouraging in my pursuit to attain generational wealth. Through our conversations I have learned the significance of the user experience and having a plan. Family is everything to us and it’s beneficial to surround yourself with individuals that understand your vision.
