We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy Rodgers-Dillard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timothy, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
To never shy away from hard work, and so always execute 100% without bias of how the end goal should be. Operate out of a sense of love for your craft and not the love of what may come from it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I can safely and honestly say that the most thing I’m excited about when it comes to my artistry is getting to execute it. It took a lots of hard work and effort to work towards what I’ve become today, and to say that it was easy as an understatement, but then again, is anything that is worth value easy to obtain? The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is to give yourself grace. I want the world to know that it is perfectly fine to grow an execute at YOUR pace, and that your art is uniquely yours because it comes from you. Simply put.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ideally, I would introduce them to my friends and we would start our day off karaoke while getting ready. Then taking a stroll in Piedmont Park, preferably until nightfall so it’s easier to find our cars lol. Then we would go to one of my favorite food places, “ Fellini’s Pizza” and then to “Jenny’s ice cream” for dessert. And we would end our night off with a jam session. To me and those that I adore, music is very important, and is personally one of my cornerstones of a perfectly well balanced and productive day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would most like to dedicate my shout out to the experiences that I have went through that molding me into the man I am today. I believe that our day-to-day lives, and what we may face in that holds more weight than the change of a single individual. If I had to “shoutout” those who have pushed me to be the best I can be: it would be my dear friend Jonah, Lauryn, and De’Andre!
