We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Never giving up on yourself, your true authenticity and your path is the absolute biggest principle I live by. Continuing to follow your heart, keeping yourself happy is so important to success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When I was a student, I was told by a few professors that being a multimedia artist would not serve me well in my career. Despite the valuable feedback as they, especially at that time, we’re looking out for my best interest at heart, I continued to pursue my multimedia crafts, continued to nurture my love of illustration, brand development, photography, image manipulation etc. I’m happy I stuck to what felt right, I followed my gut.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d say, because NYC has so many unique aspects and something for everyone, I’d suggest that someone check out some shows whether that he music, dance or theatre. The arts in NYC are just at the absolute highest level of talent.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Throughout my life I’ve always been very selective about the people I allow to be a part of my life. Giving energy and yourself to others is a very precious thing, I’ve tried to continue following people, artists, other professionals that inspire me and make me feel like I’m not alone in the world.
