Meet Tiana Melvina | Actress, Model, Owner of Tiana’s Booty Bar

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiana Melvina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiana, why did you pursue a creative career?
I get to be whoever I want to at any point, including myself? It gets no better than being a creative to be honest. I’ve explored a few different career fields and nothing excites my heart like having a script in my hand or being on set creating. It’s a commitment to expressing whatever I want when I want, whether it’s by way of an audition or creating a new episode of Tiana’s Booty Bar (my vacuum therapy business to naturally plump booties and boobs). Atlanta is one of the best places to be. I’m excited and as Tiffany Haddish says “I’m readyyyyy”!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I want the world to know that I am BOLD, happy, and making it do what it do. I let my followers see my pain and my love and success. I admit that I can be even more vulnerable and transparent but for the most part my brand is about authenticity and self-expression.
I got to where I am today- working on a tv show in Atlanta and promoting my vacuum therapy business (Tiana’s Booty Bar @thetianamelvina)- by hustlin’. I’ve been hustlin’, pushing through the doors that seemed closed, taking the no’s on the chin, and turning my dreams slowly into reality since I was a young girl. I learned early on that I’d have to have my own back if I want to be happy or successful. That being said, I owe much of my success to the community I’ve built around me- my partners along the way, friends, family, and mentors.
I love to learn. I love to challenge myself as a human, daughter, partner, friend, and artist. I’m constantly perfecting my crafts whether it’s taking an acting class, enrolling in a video editing workshop, pitching new ideas for Tiana’s Booty Bar. It’s what sets me apart for sure. No one can tell me to do more because I’m already telling myself to do more.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Soooo I work typically on a film set throughout the week but the weekend we can do! I love my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from Red-Eyed Mule in Marietta, GA. There’s always some something to do in Atlanta but you’ll typically find me eating haha. Nuevo Laredo Cantina has amazing Mexican food that I’d probably go to on a Saturday night. I haven’t found my favorite Asian spot just yet and it is my preferred cuisine.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my mentor and friend Lisha Johnson. She is always dropping little nuggets of wisdom and her confidence alone is inspiring. I believe I am a dope person but she is DOPE DOPE. Super genuine and I wish nothing but the absolute best to her in the future ❤️
