We had the good fortune of connecting with TheFirm and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TheFirm, what matters most to you?
Being Solid – Accountability is super important to us. Being someone that’s trustworthy, dependable and loyal goes a long way. And when you’re able to be steadfast in your beliefs, but also nimble enough in your movement to adjust to any environment or situation, you can’t lose.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We do most of our work out of Charlotte, so when visiting the CLT we’d do our shopping at North Lake mall. If we got hungry while running up a check, we’d go grab a bite to eat Antony’s Caribbean Cafe. Midweek, check out Eclectic Soul Sessions with the homie Sir Abstraxxx, featuring dope spoken word and live entertainment. For dinner we’d hit the rooftop at Fahrenheit that overlooks the city. During the day we’d lounge at Romare Bearden park and catch some air. For a smooth night out, head to QC social lounge for a super sexy and sophisticated vibe with hookah, delicious drinks, and conversation. If we get the late night munchies we’d hit midnight diner. On their way out to end the week, pull up to brunch at 7th Restaurant & Lounge for mimosas while basking in black excellence.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, our mothers deserve the utmost recognition, Ms. Brenda Hines & Ms. Cynthia Walker. May they rest in peace! Along the way, our main producers, Chris ‘CA’ Adams & Frank The Phre$h. Our social media and brand coordinator, Breyah Jones. And anyone who has believed, invested and supported thus far.
