Meet Terreion Wells | Entrepreneur & Registered Nurse

We had the good fortune of connecting with Terreion Wells and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Terreion, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I would prefer my legacy in the hair care industry be one of quality, honesty & longevity. My husband and I have worked tirelessly to bring toxic/conflict free Natural Hair Care products to a demographic of people who have often been underserved when it comes to safety over profits in the hair care business.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a Registered Nurse. In the 16 years of being in the profession I’ve worked in medical-surgical, surgical, orthopedics, cardiology, and respiratory units, which sets me apart from a lot of other nurses who due to circumstances are relegated to only working one aspect of the career.
I’m most proud of being able to care for someone’s relative and watching the joy on their faces as they leave the hospital with their love one.
To get here has been challenging to say the lease, both financially, physically, emotionally and mentally, but being fortunate to work in hospitals with excellent systems/policies in place and the support of my husband and children has helped me overcome those obstacles and more.
This journey so far has taught me that when it comes to health, there can be no shortcuts. That’s the same mentality I take when it comes to my brand and the quality of the ingredients in my products.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestie coming to town Slush, Tom-Dick & Hank, The Trap Museum & The National Center For Human & Civil Rights Museum are a few places we’re going. I figure I’ll throw some good to offset the bad…..lol
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to recognize Michelle Nana. She’s my mentor who taught myself & my husband everything about starting a business from scratch.
