We had the good fortune of connecting with Tayla Gay and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tayla, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The values that are most important to me are Integrity, Kindness, and Courage. I feel in anything you do or accomplish it’s about integrity. You have to be honest and have strong morals and values to stand by and for. Additionally, it is important to show kindness in your everyday life. I am a fan of Ellen Degeneres’s “be kind” initiative. Showing love and understanding doesn’t require a lot of effort; we should incorporate love and compassion in our everyday lives; it will surely reduce anxiety and stress. In today’s society, with life moving fast and technology growing at a fast pace, you have to have the courage to do what you believe needs to be done and not fear failure. Jump out there and conquer the world, one step at a time.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Taynetic Inc formed in 2019. I provide fitness, tumbling, and gymnastic training. I have developed a comprehensive program that will allow young girls and adults to engage in fitness, acrobatics, and gymnastic without feeling the pressure of being competitive. Taynetic Inc provides a mobile service that will enable us to travel to you, make training more comfortable, and tailor to your needs. I am very excited to offer one on one coaching for individuals who are in gymnastic and cheerleading who needs to work on their skill on an individual level.
Additionally, I get to train and give individuals hope, encouragement to push through obstacles and see the light at the end of the path. My bonus dad owns an engineering firm called Pinnacle Land Development Inc. I have seen him handle business most professionally. His integrity is impactable, and it has taught me how to run and operate a business. He has walked me through all the legal aspects of the company. He also reminds me that all money isn’t good money, don’t be afraid to turn away people and opportunities that don’t serve your morals and values. He has also taught me how to move in silence. Develop, Plan, and then Execute.. i.e., tell the world about your brand. We all know nothing in life is easy, and it’s sometimes challenging because you have people discouraging, putting obstacles and roadblock in your way to prevent you from following your dreams. I have a strong foundation and support system call family and friends who want to see me win and achieve the unimaginable. I will fulfill my big girl goals and live out my dreams to help everyone achieve their fitness, gymnastic, and tumbling goals. I want to world to look out and know that I am going against the grain of what’s healthy and traditional. Taynetic Inc will impact an individual’s lives. We are here to bring self-esteem, morals, and values back, creating loving yourself the new and only thing.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I am somewhat of a homebody. Still, I do occasionally live my best life J One of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta is Pappadeaux, Shrimp & Crawfish Fondeaux is incredible, and I must say the drinks are pretty lovely. I love Blueberry Mule. I want to show them some of the coolest museums, such as Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. APEX Museum and Center for Civil and Human Rights. I also love to visit ST James Live to hear a little old school; it’s more of a relaxing vibe. One of my favorites performs is Tony Tatum and his wife.
The performance is impressive; they will not disappoint you. However, the group does not play there all the time, so you would need to watch their calendar. If you want a little upbeat clubbing, then I would suggest ELLEVEN 45 LOUNGE the vibe is lovely, and the drinks are popping. I like to hike so that you can get some great exercise and enjoy the beautiful scenery at Amicalola Falls State Park. Lastly, we would have to attend my home church, Wheat Street Baptist Church, which is a historic black Baptist church located in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Wheat Street Baptist Church founded in 1869; the current building was constructed in 1921 and adjacent to Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. We have to take the time worship; I believe it makes my week better.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I could shout out anybody, I would want it to be my mom and bonus dad! Thank you guys so much for everything you have done for me. I am so grateful for you guys to be my parents. Mom, without you, I do not know where I would be. You are always here to catch me when I fall, and for that, I am thankful. Tony, thank you for stepping up and being a fantastic father figure and showing how a woman should be treated. I appreciate everything. Love you guys ️ . I also want to shout my brother Jonathan; his determination and creativity are incredible. It has motivated me to push through any obstacle. He has a catalog of unpublished music that is going to change the world, so don’t sleep on Jonney Kash—coming Soon! The organization that influenced me the most is Jack and Jill of America. This organization prepared each of us valuable adulthood by ingraining leadership qualities and community services. Again, thanks Mom for joining this organization. I am grateful to have the experience to develop with like-minded people. My Grandmother Jeannette T Carter Patterson is a big influencer in my life. She is a strong woman who has to instill strength and resiliency. Her favorite say is you may bleed, but you won’t die. Keep pushing.
