We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamisha (MishaG) Ware and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamisha (MishaG), we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I think starting your own business is Great. It’s actually one of the best things you could do for yourself. Being your own boss gives you a certain advantage to life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a music artist that goes by the name MISHAG!!! What sets me apart from others is the path I had to go through to get where I am now. Let me start off by say the mental health is very important because PTSD is real!!! Born and raised in Chicago losing about 10 people a year almost put me in a dark space that I couldn’t get myself out of without GOD!!!!! Also recently just being in a bad car accident was life changing. Broke my jaw in 2 places and broke my chin broke in hafe. My mouth was just wired for 3 months It was a very painful interesting experience that made me stronger then ever!!!! IamAwthenik is the brand that your going to start seeing everywhere because I’m BACK AND IM BETTER THANKS TO GOD!!!!!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Im would start it off with the breakfast during that week. I would for sure take bf to The Original PanCake House and Chicago’s Chicken and Waffles. Most of the days I would be cooking because that’s another hobby of mine’s. For fun we would hit a few clubs and bars if we’re not bowling. The main thing we would do for fun is being at the studio for hours!!!!!!! The whole Downtown Chicago is a interesting great place to visit. Filled with a lot of exciting places and people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I couldn’t do it without GOD my number one, family and close friends. Last but not least I want to Shoutout my manager Chasity for all her hard WORK and DEDICATION!!!!!!!
