Meet Sydnie Cutler | Photographer & Multimedia Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sydnie Cutler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sydnie, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
When I was younger, I saw the world as a series of fleeting moments waiting to be captured—almost like fragments of a larger, unspoken story. I was drawn to the rawness of life, the unpolished edges, and the quiet beauty in everyday scenes. I think, deep down, I believed that the camera could freeze time, giving weight and permanence to things that might otherwise slip away.
Photography became my way of understanding and processing the world. It started with the small things—light pouring through a window, a snowflake, the curve of a shadow, or the emotion in someone’s eyes. Over time, I realized it wasn’t just about the images; it was about the stories they told. There’s something incredibly humbling about focusing on someone else’s life, capturing their joy, their love, or even their struggles, and translating it into something meaningful.
Now, photography feels like a way to connect with people on a deeper level. It’s not just about creating something beautiful; it’s about celebrating the beauty that already exists. I love that my work allows me to honor life’s simplicity and grandeur all at once. Every shot feels like a reminder of how much beauty there is in the stories we live and share.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve realized that everything I do builds on itself, and I’m always eager to try new things. That curiosity and willingness to explore have been the foundation of my creative journey. Whether it’s photography, advanced photo editing, or video production, I love taking on new challenges that help me grow and gain fresh insight into my craft.
Getting to where I am today has required a lot of growth and building confidence in myself. I have to give all the credit to God for opening doors I never could have imagined. His guidance has been the constant thread through every opportunity and success I’ve experienced.
From selecting and editing global images for UPS to photographing members from the White House at Plant Vogtle and capturing more intimate moments like weddings and maternity sessions, my experiences have been diverse and rewarding. What sets me apart is my ability to blend technical skill with a genuine desire to tell meaningful stories through my work.
Whether I’m documenting a corporate event, a wedding, or a personal milestone, my goal is to create something that resonates emotionally and preserves the beauty of the moment.
If there’s one thing I’d want the world to know about my brand, it’s that my work is rooted in connection. I strive to create visuals that make people feel seen, valued, and celebrated. At the end of the day, my art is about finding beauty in the details and sharing those moments with the world.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a big shoutout to my mom, a breast cancer survivor, naturopathic doctor, and owner of The Olive Leaf. She’s not only my biggest inspiration but also a living example of what it means to persevere with grace and strength.
Through her journey, she’s shown me how to face life’s challenges head-on while still being a light in everyone else’s lives. Her ability to care for others, nurture their well-being, and uplift those around her has deeply influenced the way I approach my own work and relationships.
Her courage and resilience remind me daily of the power of perseverance, and her love has been the foundation of my success. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her unwavering support and example of what it means to live a purposeful life.
So, here’s to my mom—thank you for being my role model and for showing me how to find beauty in the struggle while creating light for others. You’re truly one of a kind. For anyone interested in her work, you can find her at www.theoliveleaf.com!
