We had the good fortune of connecting with Sonyetta Valentine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sonyetta, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want to be remembered as a woman who never gave up on her dreams! A woman that operated in integrity, love and strength!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the Founder & CEO of Simplistic Restored Living Inc., a Nonprofit I founded in 2015 after experiencing hardship in my own life, our focus is on Inadequate and substandard housing. I am also the CEO of my fragrance company SLV FRAGRANCE. I started my fragrance in 2020 brand because I wanted to build on to my legacy. Both businesses have taught me life lessons that I can’t wait to share with other women and families.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would have to say two of my favorite shots are The Sugar Factory & The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta. They both have amazing food, drinks and atmosphere!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to say all the amazing women I have worked with in my community have empowered me on my journey. I love to see other women supporting each other.
