We had the good fortune of connecting with Shenaye Coleman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shenaye, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind my business was I want to help women with womb wellness and educating them on how powerful our presence is in this world. I wanted my business to be a sacred space of blissful rebirth and channeling femininity.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I facilitate vaginal steams in a luxury relaxing setting. I went to school for Psychology, so I had no idea this would be my line of work, and that I would think about it just about everyday! I had to let my v-steaming take a back seat while my talent in doing hair (specializing in twist) paid the bills. I’m most proud of how far my business has come. It literally started as a steam room and now I am running a whole beauty bar centered around steaming. I’m excited to see my business continue to change lives. I have been able to help women have a safe sacred place to release traumas and reconnect with themselves. I never had anyone to walk me through the professional part of a business, I had to go through a lot of ups and downs and educate myself with resources I had available. Through this journey I’ve learned no matter what anybody else is doing what God has for you is already yours and sometimes your 9-5 will pay for your dream job. Never give up!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to a book that lead me on my spiritual journey to becoming the woman I am today, “Pussy Prayers.” It taught me a unique way of understanding pleasure and its connection to manifestation through our birthing portal. It stresses the importance of healing from trauma in our hips with the goal of getting more in touch with the place designed for pleasure. And it so beautifully reiterated how we are divine powerful beings that can create the life we deserve all throughout the book. A true sex-ed, self care manual that I live by.
