Meet Shanequa Eason | Model & Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shanequa Eason and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shanequa, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
What makes me happy would be me being the best mother I can be to my son and my daughter. Theses two mean the world to me. I don’t know what I would do with out them.becoming a mom to theses two was a challenge but I can say without god and my mom, dad, sister, and brother by myside I couldn’t have done it alone. Not just my kids being behind the Camera I’ve been modeling since I was 5 years old and I love what I do and I kno when I’m behind the camera all I can think about is my modeling career and where I could be if I was to go far.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When it comes down to what I do I’m a full time mom, Bus driver, have my associates in Medical administration, aswell as working to continue modeling/ acting. As I’ve stated before I’ve been modeling since the age of 5 that’s something I believe I can never give up because I love doing it it makes me happy and keep my confidence level up. People think when they see me I’m this perfect person or whatever they think, but truth be told I’m just like them I’m a mom of 2 I had my first at the age of 21 and she is 10years old and I had my son at the age of 26 and he is now 5 years old anything I do in life is for theses two have there been challenges yes but I feel like I have done my best with them and still is. In the mix of me being a mom and trying to do my modeling and acting career I also work as a school bus driver which is what I do Monday thru Friday.. I love my job I’ve been doing it for 6 years and still do photoshoots when I can and be a mom everyday. That’s how much I tell people I try my best to not give up on my career and what I do. I also went to school to get my associates to try something different other than buses and I did do it for awhile but went back to buses because it wasn’t my time. So I’ve had a lot of stuff that I’m doing but I do it all and try and fit it all in because I love what I do in all. I had some personal down falls but I never let that get the best of me I did give up on modeling last year cause I gave up on myself cause I felt I wasn’t good enough anymore due to everything I had going on but I let go of all my toxic stuff and made it all about me and my kids this year and I’m back modeling again and I’m very excited for my plans ahead. I was always told I’m a strong women and everything god have thrown at me I never gave up I kept moving and pushing thru and I’m proud of myself

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
You kno something this is very hard to answer because I haven’t gotten the chance to experience the way others have some when it comes to this question I have my family or friends choose and go where they take me.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout-out to my mom and dad if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be here… also they was the ones who got me started.. to my brother sister and all my family for support. I want to thank Kyra hart for informing u all about me. I also want to thank everyone that I’ve worked with in the modeling industry and acting industry for believing in me and getting me this far… to my amazing photographers I’ve worked thank u all for everything…
