Hi Sandy, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
We are a healthy bar located in the south side of Atlanta in a community that is in need of more healthy choices when eating out, we are bringing wellness and provide a nutritious option for residents. We contributing to local health awareness, supports a healthy lifestyle, and potentially fosters a sense of community around well-being.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wow it truly has been a journey, looking back it all started from a desire to work on myself! Back in 2018, to be exact December of 2018, I was feeling like my life was going no where, I was lost and confused feeling like I was living a loop of work, eat, sleep and work again! At the time I was a bottle girl at a well know lounge in Atlanta and that lifestyle got me very unhealthy habits (drinking, smoking hookah, eating late etc) I started feeling so tired all the time, I saw my coach on social media promoting a healthy lifestyle, always happy full of energy and I wanted all of that, I reached out and she got me started on a program and offer me a business opportunity!
I started coaching other people online, my platform was instagram, I felt in love with helping others and see their results that I decided to make it a full time “thing”, little did I know it was going to become my passion.
Fast forward a year later I was invited to check out a business concept within my wellness coaching career called “Nutrition Club” which was pretty much having a bar and take your online coaching to a physical space where you can actually have healthy options and help everyone on a daily basis. I felt in love with the concept, not only I was going to be able to serve people healthy options but I was going to be able to impact the community with active activities and a positive environment. I was sold.
That was right before the pandemic, you guys already know how the pandemic put a pause in our lives, so in 2021 I started looking for spaces to open my bar, finally I found one in 2022 one hour away from my house, it took me a whole year to finally have it open! The journey to opening was so hard, mentally and emotionally. Right after signing the lease I learned I was pregnant with my baby and that added more weight to the process.
I learned so much in this process, biggest lesson being (do your homework with general contractors), ask for help, look for a mentor since the beginning and lastly look for financial support do not use all your money.
I want the world to know that our mission is to help people be more conscious about their wellbeing, that health involve all your choices and we are here to guide you in that discover! I am my brand and I live by this standards, Do good to others, respect everyone and be gentle you don’t know what battle someone is going through.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love our city so much and we have so many beautiful places to go, I will start by taking them to the iconic Coca Cola Museum, walk around Atlantic Station for some pictures. I’ll definitely invite her to eat the best Dominican cuisine in town at Mamajuana Restaurant, they have it all, good food, music and drinks! Lastly our Botanical Garden is a most!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have so many people to thank but I’ll definitely start with my family, my kids and my husband has been my rock to stay focus on this journey! My business and life mentors for holding me accountable, correct me and guide me along the way!
And lastly my closest friends for giving me that unconditional love and support.
