We had the good fortune of connecting with Sandra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sandra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly, it was pretty scary. its a lot of crazy thoughts that run through your head when starting a business. Not only do you immediately start stressing if it will even be successful, will it work, funding, acquiring an LLC, website, business cards, logo to represent your business, to even doubting yourself at some point, it is Truly a lot. But starting a business has been on my mind way before , but just wasn’t sure when and where to start. I went ahead and did the research, took classes and once the opportunity presented itself it was a Go!. Might i add that starting a business does cost money, please we have to remember that ” You are your first investor” which you have to also take that into account when starting a business. In all reality, if you plan it out properly, have funding , you can seamlessly start a successful business as well.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Just1PR,LLC is a full service Public Relations agency. What sets us apart is the fact that we don’t just offer only services, we are “Full-Service” agency, so we provide everything you need with Public Relations and more and am very proud of the direction we’re going in this 2021. Getting to where i am today business-wise wasn’t easy, it took a lot of hard work, a lot of networking, building relationships and being consistent. I learned along the way that sometimes you have to build your own door and walk through to your own destiny. I want the world or anyone to know that it wasn’t easy to start, but it gets easy once you start!, i couldn’t tell you how hard it was initially, but now i can tell you how easy it has become. Just go for it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh Gosh, it’s plenty to do! My first stop will be the National Harbor, Great bars and restaurants! Then to DC, i must take them to African American Museum, Ben’s Chili bowl , Howard University and Theatre, Georgetown for more restaurants, and The White House now.. lol! Then Virginia for Pentagon City Mall and Tysons Conner just to name a few. Listen, its a whole lot to do here if anyone comes, we covered every single person, i can go on all day!.

Honestly i want to Thank God first! He is truly the reason why life/ business is going amazing! Then of course to ALL our clients for believing in the work and process.
