We had the good fortune of connecting with Rocklyn Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rocklyn, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My main focus was to be unique. Since I was young I never did what everyone else was doing so the same applied to my sight with this.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I believe what sets me apart from others is my overall quality of work. I deliver each and everytime and really enjoy what I do. I got where I’m at today through being consistent and hard work. For me I like handling my challenges head on. Lessons I’ve learned along the way is not everyone is will like you and that’s ok. Trust and believe the hate is real out here and for no reason, but that’s how you know you doing something right. Also not being scared of setting the price of what you think your work is worth. If you think your quality is worth “x” amount then you should do what you feel is best for you and you will attract the right people and clientele that will see your worth. I want people to see my story and be motivated to know when your moving right and following your passion anything is possible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would probably take them to a nice Japanese restaurant and maybe Stone Mountain hiking trail since I haven’t been yet.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I give thanks to GOD first and foremost and giving me the strength to keep pushing forward.
