Meet Redwrong

We had the good fortune of connecting with Redwrong and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Redwrong, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I was always one to procrastinate, a change of mind in whole was a huge part to my success. Like many others I thought at one time I would be unable to succeed.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I was into music at a really young age and experimented with different genres and types of music. Hip-hop found me in 2017 and I began recording in 2019. Since then, I’ve had other projects but hip-hop has been my main focus. Building a brand that represented my music and vice-versa luckily came naturally to me because of who and how I am, I came to realize. So I decided to market myself. I hold community events for kids and other entrepreneurs as well as the artistic community, giving them free opportunities to share with the world what they do. I’m a self made producer and independent artist. If I see a lot of heart and drive in another artist, I’ve been known to record or feature them for free. I’ve got a passion for positivity and genuine creativity. Our brand motto is “Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds”. With a lot of self discipline and research I was able to overcome a lot of my challenges, though for me it took a few years doing everything on my own. So some advice is don’t give up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place in the world is the place I come from – King’s Bay, Crystal River! The captivating natural beauty of the bay calls me home wherever I am. It’s one of the only places in the US where you can feed tarpon, swim with manatees, fish for Redfish, and enjoy crystal clear springs all in the same morning. You can take short trips to see the mermaids and their underwater theater show at Weeki Wachee Springs. All of us locals have always been really friendly and love to share our fish stories. And if you ever visit our Nature Coast and have dinner at Cracker’s on King’s Bay, you might see my pirate ship!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to my fans and followers! I wouldn’t be here without them, of course. It was a relief and a blessing that others liked my work and that they continue to enjoy it!
