We had the good fortune of connecting with Questa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Questa, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factors to my success and my brand is patience and confidence. Even though it’s a on going learning process, I’m patient with my brand, my growth and my clientele. I feel as though people remember that and value that about me. It helps me to be able to process everything going on without having to worry because I know and understand that everything takes times. Understanding that helps me reach and set new goals for myself and my brand daily. My confidence is so important to me because that’s what set me away from different brands. Just being myself helps create different bonds with my clients which makes me happy that I’m making you happy and that makes me want to keep going.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The only reason I can think of how I got my business to where it was when I first started to now is believing in myself. I believe in myself, I believe that I really have a gift and the ability to do anything I set my mind to if it’s for me. It’s not easy, I cry sometimes because it gets very difficult but it’s bringing out a different side of me I never knew I had and I like that. I work to get here and I want to see how far I will go if I don’t give up. Some challenges I face is being too hard on myself, I take a lot in sometimes and it can be challenging on myself but that’s because I wanna see myself be great and I don’t wanna stop until I get there. I’ve learned a lot of lessons but my favorite was learning perseverance. I have different clients asking me to do styles and looks I never seen or done before and at first I used to say. That’s amazing and I love that I learned that about myself it has helped me expand my abilities. I want the world to know that life is what you make it. We’re all living a different story, I feel that sometimes we forget that and we look around and see people on all different levels and think we’re supposed to be like that when it’s not like that.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Big shoutout to God and my sister! I honestly don’t know how my brand would of came to life without them both. Thank God for the vision, the gift, and the courage to do it. Thank you Keysha for believing in me because it helped me believe in myself❤️
