We had the good fortune of connecting with Precious Melton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Precious, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a child, I grew up with parents that were dream and goal-driven. My mom is a retired educator and my dad is an entrepreneur with multiple businesses. Growing up, I never thought I would be an entrepreneur or had a desire to become one. However, things changed when the global pandemic hit in 2020. I saw the need for more support in the education field in relation to parents, students and educators. Everyone was forced into a virtual environment that no one was expecting to be in…. for so long. Students and educators were impacted like never before. It was at this moment that I was compelled to launch my business The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC.

As an educator with 4 + years of experience, I thought about where students left off in their studies and how much it would impact them with the learning gap due to COVID. I wanted to help ease the burden for parents whose children struggled with staying abreast in their academics, meanwhile, navigating life in this new way of living. One year later, The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC was launched in March 2021 and originated as a writing and tutoring business. Since it’s inception, we have added new services which include fine arts (piano and voice) and graphic design. We plan to continue to expand our business in the next few years as we continue to grow.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being an educator is NOT easy. Especially in this ever-changing world and now with virtual options being presented, it widens the opportunities for everyone but also puts another stressor on educators. This is one of the biggest challenges that I’ve faced within my career. However, I’ve learned how to become even more flexible through multiple modes of learning to reach my students and client’s needs.

Teaching is hard work, but it’s very rewarding as well. I love that I can build relationships with my students by learning their interests and setting a foundation for them to build upon from the beginning of the school year to the end of the school year. If there is anything that I would want the world to know about my brand, it would be that we believe in the potential of every client that we serve. We want to help unlock the gifts, talents and academic skills that they have inside of them.

I’m so thankful for my village that has supported my business since day one. They truly help keep me going and push me to be my best self. My family, friends and clients have played an integral role to the success of The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC.
