We had the good fortune of connecting with Porsche Fierce and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Porsche, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success/ the success of my brand is putting God first and Self love. Those 2 helped Porsche Fierce brand soar and knocked down plenty of barriers without a team behind me, I guess you can say self made.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud of whom I have became. I haven’t always been this person. I was the little girl that dreamed to be a star and never saw representation in my size for certain areas in the entertainment business. What sets me apart from others, is that I push and fight for size inclusion, still until this day it is scarce, but I keep doing my part and helping others see that size shouldn’t stop you from achieving your dreams. I got to where I am today from self love, fighting and believing I am good as the next. Not letting what others say stop me from achieving greatness. My support system, fans, family, friends and on occasion some model sisters in the game showed support and provided knowledge. Definitely was not easy and still not easy till this day. More opportunities for women of size, but still not totally inclusive of all sizes. Through out this model journey, I have truly learned and seen for myself a lot of things. One being if you not apart of clicks, your opportunity to apart of projects, walk in shows and work with designers is slim to none. Same as if you’re associated with people they dont like, they will try to black ball you. I overcame the challenges, by keeping on pushing and not giving up. Knowing that if I’m not accepted for me and my talents., then I didn’t belong anyways. My lessons learned is it is okay to not be apart of everything, be close to everyone and knowing I will never be everyone cup of tea. What I want the world to know about me and my brand as well as my story is pretty much the same. Adversity are faced everyday, I won’t give up, neither should you. Veni. Vidi. Vici. Porsche Fierce is here and you will know her, she is her and her is me. I was born to be a star.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a country girl, living in a rural town so not much to do here, but def will ride out to see and do something fun. I would take them to Ponce City Market, in Atlanta, GA because it so much to do at that one place from eating to drinks and more. Its a one stop and shop type place. We would definitely visit some of the summer times vibes in Atlanta because it is always something going on from Jazz in the park, free concerts, visit some parks, museums, and more. In my view some of the most fun interesting things to do is a little bit of everything, just depends on how you feel or what you feeling. Exciting people for me is always a person I never met before, especially if they from different parts of GA or any where else. Interesting places would be these little hidden gyms, like parks with waterfalls, love a good photo opt, lol. Things to to check out for me is always the Apex Museum and The World of Coke, try tasting different Coke brands from all over the world, super odd, and amazing.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Actually there are a few people. 1st my big brother Keith Whiters, who no longer here with me. He took me to my first model call and told me to never give up, and I held those words near and dear to my heart. My cousin Chawanda Whiters, who saw the flyer and said you should try it, and that’s where it started. Definitely want to thank all the people who picked on me for my size, to push me to self love and making sure I grew the thick skin I have today. To all the plus/curvy models and actresses before me who paved the way. I truly appreciate them for opening roads in places I thought I would never see and never seen growing up. My beautiful mother for birthing me and continue telling me, how amazing I am. Faye Atwater. When I say a model sister, she is the definition of a model sister. To all others who gave me opportunities and pushed the Porsche Fierce Brand, Especially Melvin Hicks my first photographer who pushed me the hardest. I got to say the final shout goes to my heavenly father God and his son Jesus. Without them it wouldn’t be a me.
