We had the good fortune of connecting with Paper Talk 1k and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paper Talk, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business has been generational wealth. I want to leave a life of legacy. WIth me putting my foot in the ground now and setting the foundation then they are able to maintain the home I created. By me starting a business and being successful I intend to be able to take care of my family for generations to come.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my mindset behind my vision because the way I process things and how I want to manifest thing is just not the norm. My first try out I just threw it out in the streets to see what it would do and it went well but it wasn’t what I was looking for. It wasn’t easy because I felt like it should’ve hit different but I accepted how it went. It helped me because I knew what it could do even when it wasn’t right. I had the tools but didn’t use them properly like social media etc etc so I scaled back. I did not open my brand up to the public the right way so since I was eager to drop I allowed my emotions to move before my thought process but now I am right foot then left foot so I am able to plan then execute effectively. I overcame the challenges because I allowed my mind to do the leading before my feet hit the actual pavement.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Fogo de Chao and Kelz Kitchen to eat because both spots have some of the best food in my opinion, elleven45 for some drinks, if they like to club I would take them to Club Opium. Escobar is another good spot that I would take them to.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am dedicating my shoutout to my mom, my dad, my sister. From the way we were raised our mindset were molded to be different and stand out. More so my mom and my dad because watching them work for years I knew I wanted to do more to be able to see more and be more. Take care of them like they took care of me.
