We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige Bland-Thompson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paige, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk-taking, for me, is the delicate dance between caution and opportunity. Throughout my career, I’ve embraced challenges as gateways to growth, seeing potential where others might see obstacles. Each decision to venture into new territories or tackle ambitious projects has been a lesson in resilience and innovation. I guide my clients to make informed decisions that maximize their returns, empowering them to see the untapped potential in their properties. This collaborative approach to risk management is rooted in a deep passion for helping others achieve their dreams. From suggesting bold renovations to exploring emerging markets, my journey has been about creating opportunities amidst uncertainty. It’s not just about the wins, but also about learning from setbacks and emerging stronger. Calculated risks, to me, are the cornerstone of opportunity creation in the ever-evolving world of real estate. I’ve also applied risk taking in my personal life as well.

What should our readers know about your business?
The message that I want people to understand is that I am not just your average REALTOR® and its way more than just helping people buy and sell real estate; its about listening to peoples goals, their wants and their needs and how together we can make that dream, come to life while offering such an unparalleled experience with anyone that I have the honor of working with. I pride myself on understanding their unique aspirations and tailoring my unique services to exceed their expectations. What truly excites me is the transformative power created to both homes and lives. From the thrill of handing over keys to a dream home to witnessing the awe on a client’s face upon seeing what was just house that has now transformed into a home. Also am there after the sale to make sure that they know I am always here in their corner with anything they need in addition to helping my clients renovate spaces and helping them create a space they are proud of. These moments are the heartbeat of my business. But the journey here hasn’t been easy—market shifts, evolving needs, and the challenges of entrepreneurship tested me and it still does from time to time. However, with unwavering dedication, a clear vision, and a passion for my craft, I’ve navigated through. Adaptability has been a key lesson learned, as well as the power of collaboration with the best partners in the area that play such a huge role in the people I get to help. Some other key factors in why I am able to stand out from my competition is that I have lived in North Metro Atlanta since I was as young as 3 years old, and I have watched these areas grow and develop so when helping people relocate to the area, I am able to be the ultimate guide and share first hand why I am so passionate about the lifestyle here and introducing them to all the hidden gems in the area. I also invest a lot of time in giving back to the community by many ways but one major way is that I am giving back by supporting small local business by featuring them on national TV with the benefit of being a TV Host for The American Dream TV, Selling Atlanta. For the homeowners wanting to sell their homes, I also am able to get them on the show as well. The American Dream is real people and real stories, highlighting lifestyle, culture and real estate and sharing it on a national level. It costs nothing to be featured and for my clients selling their home its a part of the services I offer. Setting the marketing and setting the bar extremely high. The show airs on major local channels like CW Atlanta, The Travel Channel, FOX and has just recently started streaming on major platforms such as Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Roku TV, FireTV, YouTube TV and more. It’s such a great way to give back to the community that I love so dearly.

I am proud of the homes, the people and also the stories I’ve helped create and the communities I’ve enriched. More than a brand, I’m a trusted partner on the journey to home ownership and transformation. My story is one of passion, integrity, and a genuine love for what I get to do. Most of my business is based off enriched relationships, referrals and my online presence so I invite you to join me in crafting homes, stories, impact and communities that truly reflect the heart and soul of those who inhabit them. Who you work with matters and I am so blessed to be able to do what I love every day, by helping and sharing my gift with others. It’s my mission and my reason.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came for a week, I’d want them to dive into the vibrant scene here. We’d kick off mornings with Vietnamese coffee on the rooftop of July Moon Bakery & Cafe, soaking in the city vibes. Brunch would be a must at Up on the Roof, offering scenic views of Downtown Alpharetta, where their house-made juices elevate their mimosas. Then, it’s off to the upscale boutiques and lush outdoor spaces of Avalon for some shopping.

Lunchtime calls for Table & Main in Roswell, a gem known for its modern take on Southern comfort food. After exploring historic Roswell and its quaint shops, we’d head to downtown Canton for fresh seafood delights at Goin’ Coastal, followed by a show at the lively Canton Theatre.

The following day would start with brunch at The Mill Kitchen and Bar in Roswell’s restored mill, followed by a serene hike at Old Mill Park in Roswell. Dinner would be a farm-fresh affair at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails, nestled in a charming farmhouse. Then, it’s off to Six Bridges Brewing/Spiced Right Ribhouse in Milton for craft beers and yummy BBQ on the patio, before stepping back in time at the Roaring Social, the speakeasy at The Hamilton Hotel. Of course we would stay the night at the luxury Hamilton Hotel!

Midweek, we’d leisurely explore historic downtown Alpharetta, stopping for lunch at the cozy Butcher & Brew. An artsy afternoon would take us to Splatter Studio in Atlanta for some creative fun, followed by pizza at Marietta Pizza Company and antique hunting at Marietta Square.

A pampering day at Woodhouse Day Spa in Kennesaw would precede a farewell dinner at the cozy yet upscale Little Alley Steakhouse. Live music at Mad Life in Woodstock, margaritas at Pure Taqueria in Downtown Woodstock, and a candle-making class at Made would round out the week.

This itinerary captures just a glimpse of our area’s excitement—from culinary adventures to historical explorations, there’s something for every taste and interest to savor.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am such a big believer in the simple fact that people need people, so with that being said there are others that have played a huge role in my success. My father, who was the Vice President of one of the biggest commercial construction companies here in Atlanta, and recently retired, acts as a huge role model for me and has taught me that the relationships built today are the foundation of tomorrow, and that has always stuck with me. He has built a legacy and I want to continue that legacy that he has built through the North Metro Atlanta areas. My husband, Mark deserves a huge shout out because of him, he pushed me and challenged me to shoot for the stars and reminds me daily that my mission is to help others and impact their life in such an honorable way. Reminding me that God gave me a special gift and it was given to me to help others. My Mentor and Broker, Laura, because without her I am not sure if I would have made it this far in my career. When I met Laura in 2021, I was broken and shattered. Ready to hang up the cape and I will never forget the impact she made on me. She gave me the motivation I needed to keep going and she built me up and reminded me that without risks, you will never know how many life’s you will touch. She still to this day continues to inspire me, challenge me and give me tough love. I am tremendously grateful for these role models and last but not least, my supporters, my family, my friends and all my past clients that have turned into what is now my family.
