We had the good fortune of connecting with Pahpy (Happy) The Artist and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pahpy (Happy), is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
I have in my bio that this is “the result of passion, frustration and love.” What it means to me and what I like about it is, it shows how all the ingredients play a part in shaping what becomes,

Looking back on different seasons and situations, I accept them for what they were because I got me to where I am now. We gotta keep progressing.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
You know… I’m not sure just yet what sets me apart. I know I lead with love and vulnerability and that’s probably what draws people in to me. Sometimes it’s not what I do but the story behind it. The beauty of that to me is that the story is continuing to write itself.

I got to where I am now by that idea of by any means necessary. I’ve bumped into a few people I thought could/ would take me to the next level but realized I had to put the work in myself and if that meant standing outside of a club all night to catch up with a celebrity with artwork, that’s what I did.

It wasn’t a walk in the park but we’re here. The lesson is to put the work in and continue to learn and grow The message of our brand is to love yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A few places I’d send them is @Loungescle and content studio/ event space/ yoga and art gallery. Then for food I’d mention @sunsetkitchen another artsy vibe with art done by yours truly. Another foodie spot would be Sora in the Flats I personally rock with the vibes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It’s almost everyone that I have interacted with. I like to say with out “u” I could spell “success”. I have to shoutout the people that have believed in my. Big shouts to my brother Celo. He’s been in it with me since the beginning of our brand Tra Evoli (I love Art backwards).

Shoutout to my fam dna related and not. If yall ever in Cleveland check out Loungescle ran by AD Jackson. He’s been a big supporter.
