We had the good fortune of connecting with Noré Arnett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noré, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Hey, I’m Noré Aaliyah, your new Brand and Web Designer. Born and raised in Nassau, The Bahamas, I am the true definition of an island girl, reppin’ my Caribbean heritage. With a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Business, I have the knowledge needed to understand the complexities of building and maintaining a business. Inspired by the culture of my hometown, my love for the oceanic views of the beautiful Bahamian landscape transformed into a passion for creating captivating visuals. Initially starting as a side gig, I quickly turned my passion for design into a full-scale brand development service, eventually leading me to create Studio Eight (8) Creative. My strong expertise in the industry and love for bright, bold colors have put me in the room with some of your favorite brands like Unicorn Universe, Snob Life, EAP Heat, Keep It Cute Fitness by Alaina Anderson-Rose, Remedy by Ari, Arrogant Tae and Pritty Kitty by Amy Luciani.

I have over eight years of experience helping other entrepreneurs establish themselves in the industry while creating intentional brand strategies and graphics that speak to the personality and character of my clients.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Studio Eight (8) Creative is a design studio committed to bringing you BOLD designs. We are here for the fierce, go-getter, ready to make waves in their industry. Studio Eight (8) is committed to giving you a systemized, clear customer experience that is focused on delivering a personable design style you will love.

We serve the disruptors, the wave makers, The girls who get it, get it. We’re here for the entrepreneurs ready to make waves in their industries with eye-catching graphics that leave a lasting impression—from small business to big business. We serve entrepreneurs across every industry.

One of the biggest lessons learned is to stop comparing myself and becoming a victim of imposter syndrome. When putting your work and yourself out there, you begin to second guess your craft and compare yourself to other creatives in the industry. However, my brand story details making your own waves and standing out in the crowd, so I learned how to embody that to help my clients confidently.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have just become really big into food! I have found a new love for cooking and trying new restaurants, so I would take my guest out to eat, drink, and SHOP! Two of my favorite restaurants are Lure and Arnette’s Chop Shop.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank God because, without him, nothing is possible; the continued support from my family and friends and all of my clients for trusting in me.
