We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Nickerson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikki, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?

The idea for my business really was born of wanting to be able to share something I found so personally helpful and informative with others. The first time I had my aura photographed, the way I thought about myself and my energy changed. I found myself thinking and talking about the experience often.

That one little visit changed everything and set me on a metaphysical journey to discover myself. Many years later, I had a live energy reading done where I could see my chakras and energy in real-time. I loved seeing my energy reacting to my thoughts and to the things and people around me and I knew this was an experience that I wanted to be able to provide for others.  At that moment, the idea for BeYOUtiful Soul Aura Photography was born.

I thought about it for 6 YEARS! I thought on it and thought on it and then I followed the advice I had given so many others, I took the step of WRITING IT DOWN WITH A DATE in my manifestation journal. When I tell you the power of the written word! I had what I needed by the date that I wrote down and BeYOUtiful Soul was born.


Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets my business apart from others like it, is ME. I bring to the experience an intention to create a safe and peaceful environment for people to experience seeing their aura and energy in real-time. Aura photos capture a person”s energy in that instance. It is truly a snapshot in time. However, our energy is constantly changing. So in the live energy reading, my clients and I have wide-ranging conversations, We may meditate, or listen to music. They may choose to bring in a personal object and see what their energy looks like when they hold the object. These sessions are screen recorded for the client to review at their leisure and a comprehensive energy report is provided in addition to the aura photo. All of this occurs in a safe space that contains various crystals and other energy cleansing tools. It is a very special experience.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would spend a lot of time enjoying some of the great natural attractions in the area: Morgan Falls Overlook Park, The Atlanta Botanical Gardens, The Farmers Market at Piedmont Park, and many other hidden gems.
