We had the good fortune of connecting with Nichole Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nichole, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

Aesthetic is a project of passion. I graduated from UC Riverside with my BS in Business Administration, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I took a leap of faith, invested in myself and brought Aesthetic to life.

I saw a need within my community for more creative and inspired ways to celebrate life’s moments- big and small. We set the table and create a beautiful backdrop for our clients to celebrate birthdays, baby showers, engagements, girls weekend getaways, promotions, graduations and more. All while getting closer to nature and enjoying the organic elements around you.

What should our readers know about your business?

I struggled when deciding to define Aesthetic Events as a business or an artistic/creative space. Art is most often created with intrinsic value for the artist. The events I create are always with my clients’ wishes top of mind.

Every Aesthetic client receives an initial consultation so that we can better understand what they’re celebrating, and how they want their celebration to look.

We are a full service event planning business, specializing in luxury pop up picnics, grazing tables and beverage bars. I am so proud of our collaborations and innovation. We have transformed picnics from checkered blankets under a tree at your local park, to gorgeous floating picnics on yachts, gratitude picnics atop hiking trails and have reimagined picnics indoors! Aesthetic has even set the table in a music video for Grammy nominated artist,  Patrick Paige II. Seeing our name in the credits for Table Set Production still gives me butterflies.

In July 2022, we opened up our services to the Atlanta Metro area. I am so proud to have Aesthetic Events go bicoastal, but getting to this place has not been easy. The success of my business is the result of consistency, quality in every event, and building relationships.

As I shared before, this is a project of passion- and it has to be for all of the late nights, early mornings and garage mock-ups. I am growing my business and scaling strategically. As we scale, it is so important for me to have a three, five, and ten year plan. The goal was to go bicoastal by year five but here we are. Year three and we couldn’t be more excited.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m new to the Atlanta area myself, but what I’ve seen so far, I love. We’ve already created picnics in gorgeous Piedmont Park, so a trip there would absolutely be on the list. I love Ponce City Market. Great shopping, great restaurants, bars like The Tap, and taking the elevator up to the roof was the best.

As a sports enthusiast and Smyrna’s newest resident, catching a Braves game at Truist Park tops the list for sure. Spas are my happy place. I’m still on the hunt for a great spa in the area to visit with my besties.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am so fortunate to have an amazing circle of girlfriends. When I announced the news of starting Aesthetic, my friends were encouraging, supportive and genuinely excited for me. One friend in particular, Briana Rice- founder of Love and Light Movement- met with me for countless working lunches, sharing our goals of entrepreneurship in their infancy, creating business plans, and manifesting our dreams. To this day, she has never stopped being a supporter of me, my dreams, or my business.
