We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Aladin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natasha, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe there are a few important factors behind the success of Natasha Couture Fashion. An extremely important factor behind the success of my brand is my true passion for fashion and clothing. I put a lot of hard work and research into selecting the styles that we carry. If it’s not something I absolutely love, I would not carry it. My boutique is a reflection of my style. Another important factor is my relationship with my clients. What sets us apart is the personal attention we strive to give to each and every client. They’re a part of our extended Natasha Couture Fashion family. And lastly, my dedication to the business. It’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication over the last 10 years to make our business a success. And I’ve loved every minute of it. I truly believe you must love what you do.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve had an ongoing love affair with fashion for as long as I can remember and had always dreamed of opening my own boutique. In 2011, I finally took the leap, and my dream became a reality when we opened Natasha Couture Fashion. We at Natasha Couture Fashion take pride in providing our clients a personal shopping experience catered to their fashion needs. We specialize in carrying the latest trends in fashion yet carry pieces that you typically won’t find elsewhere. It’s always a challenge to keep evolving and growing the business, but it’s a challenge I enjoy taking on. This year has definitely been unique and extremely challenging. To start, we had to adapt our operations to comply with health-and-safety regulations and ensure we were being socially responsible in the way we ran our business. We also had to put a larger emphasis on e-commerce, providing a greater digital customer experience on our website and social media platforms. We are proud of the way our boutique and our business has grown over the years. This is in large part to the support of our loyal client base and word of mouth advertising in Atlanta.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Whenever my friends are in town, I have to take them to a few of my favorite spots. During the day, we would go to the Piedmont Park area, including the Beltline and Ponce City Market. We would walk the Beltline, ride bikes in Piedmont Park before grabbing a bite to eat and drinks at one of the many great patios in the area. Evenings in Atlanta are all about the fabulous restaurants that we have. The Buckhead Village district is a must-do on my list whenever I have friends in town. There are a few spots here that I love to frequent: Le Bilboquet for their amazing ambience, Gypsy Kitchen for their patio and The Biltong Bar for their unique cocktails. No visit to Atlanta is complete without taking my friends to my two favorite places. The Bar at the St Regis for a few cocktails and then heading next door to Umi for the best sushi in town.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
From the very beginning my husband Rahim has been my biggest supporter. He has supported and encouraged me through every stage of this business. My family has also been very supportive and are always there for me whenever I need any advice or assistance. A special shoutout goes out to my sisters for guiding me every step of the way and always willing to be a listening ear.
