Hi Monique, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think risk as an opportunity to grow, an opportunity to change your timeline; your life. I use to be terrified of taking risk. But when you think about it, if you know you don’t like your current reality or you know that this one decision could change your whole world why shy away from that? Always look for opportunities to change your norm. If you fall, that’s totally okay but atleast you tried. Risks have made me climb the ladder of life more than sitting in my head ever did. Risks have made me more money than saving ever did.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Tlcinvestmentsco is my personal investment company. All my different investments are tied into it. From real estate, car rentals & simply the education of owning your investments! I teach about money as well on my YouTube channel. I feel what sets me apart from others is that I genuinely want to help my community. I don’t see too many others talking about the tips and tricks I do, let alone offering services like help with your LLC & setting up business accounts. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and because I’m very knowledgeable on it, I feel I’m in a good position to help. If I wanted the world to know anything is that, there are people out here that will worth with you to get where you want to be. I’ve had so much help along the way and I feel it’s only right to return the favor back to my community. I’m rooting for you.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my bestfriend was visiting and she said she wanted me to give her the best time, Our first stop would be her favorite Savannah restaurant ,Miyabi’s. After we got full we’d go to my favorite rooftop bar peregrin. It has an amazing scenery & all of the picture taking spots. We’d take a million pictures for instagram & just talk about life. If we didn’t wanna go home after that I’d take her to VICE lounge to end the night off. That’s an ideal night for us.

I will always give a shoutout to my dedicated friend Sharia, I love you dearly & thank you for believing in me always. I’d also like to thank my mentors Mr. Vic & Ishmael who have answered my countless questions about real estate, business & life. Lastly, My father who has always pushed me to do more & take advantage of the opportunities that gave me more. Love you all dearly!
