Hi Margarita, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I define sucess like everyone else in terms of outward things like wealth, accolades, and high achievement. However, for me, there is a deeper, more fulfilling aspect to success. Living a life filled with purpose and joy is most important. This holistic view mean that I consider the process of achieving sucess more important than the achievement. I think it is important to be expansive and benefiting others and myself. It’s about fostering growth, nurturing love, and pursuing endeavors that contribute positively to the world.

In business, this perspective on success translates to prioritizing what is best for my clients above all else. It means exercising self-control and discernment to ensure that the pursuit of financial gain never compromises the quality of work delivered. I believe that investing in both the business and personal mindset is crucial. Building trust and treating people with respect are considered as vital to scaling a business as any marketing strategy. Such principles ensure that as the business grows, it does so on a foundation of integrity and genuine value.

Similarly, in the role of a parent, embodying and teaching these values of doing the right thing, even when it’s hard, is paramount. I consider things like the powerful lesson I taught my kids one day by leaving a note after accidentally hitting a car door, despite not having the funds to cover the damage at the time. This act of honesty, done in front of my children, embeds in them a deep understanding of integrity. It shows them that the essence of being a good person, and consequently a successful one, lies not in the avoidance of mistakes but in how one addresses them, especially under pressure.

Success is not merely about achieving personal or financial milestones like making money, traveling, or holding certain titles. It is also about how those achievements are pursued and the values upheld along the way. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Creating an unforgettable week-long itinerary for a best friend visiting the area would be a fun task! I would start by exploring the natural and cultural highlights around Atlanta because that’s what I like to do and if we are friends, you will probably like it too. We would have a blast exploring nature, and unique local experiences, and immersing ourselves in some of the most breathtaking natural wonders and vibrant cultural spots.

We’d kick off the adventure at Stone Mountain Park, where we could hike up the mountain early in the morning to catch a stunning sunrise view over Atlanta. The park also offers a variety of outdoor activities, including scenic train rides and a mesmerizing laser show in the evening that we wouldn’t want to miss.

Next on our list would be a day trip to Amicalola Falls State Park, home to the Southeast’s tallest cascading waterfall. The hike up to the falls provides not only a refreshing workout but also spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic, so I’d pack some local delicacies for us to enjoy.

A visit to the charming Alpine town of Helen would offer a unique twist to our adventure. We could spend a day exploring its quaint shops, tasting German cuisine, and tubing down the Chattahoochee River. The town’s architecture and festive atmosphere make it feel like a step into a European fairy tale.

For a taste of Atlanta’s vibrant urban culture, Ponce City Market would be our go-to destination for shopping and dining. The market’s eclectic mix of artisan boutiques, gourmet eateries, and rooftop entertainment offers something for everyone. We might even catch a live music performance or join a workshop while we’re there.

Throughout the week, we’d explore local cafes and restaurants to indulge in the diverse culinary scene, from Southern comfort food to tacos at my favorite taco place, San Panchos Taqueria. Evening drinks would find us at cozy bars or rooftop lounges, where we could unwind and soak in the city’s skyline.

To ensure we have time to relax and just enjoy each other’s company, I’d also set aside a day without plans, allowing us to discover hidden gems or revisit any place that captured our hearts or our stomachs.

My ideal itinerary would combine the thrill of adventure with the joy of discovery and relaxation. It highlights the best of both natural beauty and urban excitement, ensuring a memorable experience for my best friend’s visit.
