We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcus Donald and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marcus, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
First and foremost is to keep God first and staying focused on what is actually in front of me and not behind me but the most important lesson in my career that has taught me was to always remain calm and to always keep moving forward no matter how hard life gets and the more hard work you put in it will definitely pay off

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well I want to say back in 2019 I started thinking about getting in front of the camera and I did not know where to start so I was going around asking some people where I can find photographers and I had one of my coworkers link me with my first photographer David Hunter and that’s when I did my first photo shoot and the pictures came back excellent and afterwards in my mind I said “this was made for me” so David and I began to do more photo shoots every now and then and I also began to get into some fashion shows I’ve done shows in the state of Alabama and Tennessee and then I began to look into acting so I did some researching for casting calls and I signed up for some tv shows and I’ve got my first booking I was nervous but it was an exciting moment to actually travel and go to set and see the experience and actually be on camera and I’ve been getting booked for tv shows ever since. For the lessons I have learned along the way since I started this journey I have learned that I will negative comments towards and I will have people telling me that I won’t make it anywhere in life and I also learned to keep my head up and pray that God carry me through this journey because he has already have my story written for me and I have to chase my dream. What I want the world to know is that I will never give up on what I love doing in life and that is being a successful actor and I want the people out there to be successful in life and never give up on their dream no matter how hard it gets I want to see everyone win.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would want to take my best friend to see where I do my work at for filming in Atlanta at different types of studios but I would take my friend to my favorite restaurant called Ray’s In The City it’s a fine dining restaurant and the food and service is excellent and I would also show them the High Museum Of Art because I love to see how art is made and hoping that I’ll be able to make art someday in front of the camera.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would definitely love to give all glory to God first he’s definitely been good to me but I want to give credit to my first photographer David Hunter and I also want to give a shout out to my mother and father they have also been supportive since I have started this journey and I definitely can’t wait to see what happens next.
