We had the good fortune of connecting with madam cj and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi madam, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I chose an artistic, creative career because I love my freedom. I love being able to use my natural talents to create things that provide solutions and healing to people.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Right now I am most proud of and excited about my new ebook, “Passing Fibroids Naturally” and my new Liquid Motion dance instructor gig at Vertical Joe’s and Piedmont Women’s Heart Health program. Believe it or not, Covid helped me pivot into writing an ebook and getting certified to teach Liquid Motion. They were on my to do list anyway, but time was a factor. My industry shut down and I was left without a job. I overcame that challenge by using my unemployment to pay off some debt and purchase some courses that I wanted to take anyway. I now am Certified to teach Liquid Motion and Chair Dance. I also am studying Yoni Steaming, Herbs and Nutrition. What I want the world to know about me and my brand story is that everything I have turned into a business was born out of necessity for my own healing and womb health. Everything I do as a business now is a result of me having uterine fibroids and learning how to heal myself naturally of fibroids and the symptoms.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We have been stuck in the house here since March 14,2020 and all of my favorite spots have been closed. BUT, I would take my friends to the new Soundtable for drinks and dancing. I would take them for brunch to Petit Marche. Then to hang out on my front porch and to visit friends who have a big patio or porch. Atlanta has changed so much. It is not the same anymore. I honestly have more fun hanging out at lounges and peoples homes.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Who else deserves a little credit and recognition in your story? I’d like to say thank you to my SGI-USA Nichiren Buddhist family and my district. Ive been practicing and chanting since May 6,2012. Since I joined my spiritual practice and my spiritual family have been holding me up,encouraging and chanting for me. I could not have gotten this far without the practice or my spiritual comrades.
