We had the good fortune of connecting with Louis Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Louis, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
To live a fit and healthier lifestyle is being active and intentional. Put it on your calendar and schedule time to sync your mind and body with exercises that keep you feeling sharp, strong, and on top of your game daily. The key to your immediate success is being intentional. If you want to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle, put it on your calendar and track it. Finding out what works for your lifestyle is the key to long-lasting sustainable positive results.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I’m a Strength & Conditioning Fitness Professional that helps busy professionals and corporate athletes get in shape without giving up their favorite foods. I’ve been in the Health & Fitness Industry for over 20 years. In that time, I’ve worked with men, women, and children in a small group training session, online fitness coaching, and coaching private school physical education classes. I love teaching people how to move optimally and pain-free. With children, I’m inspired by their energy, which in turn makes the class a fun learning experience. When children are in a safe space to explore movement, the more confident and active they want to be. I always wanted to help children who were uncoordinated and nonathletic gain movement confidence in their bodies.

Growing up as an overweight child was very challenging when trying to keep up with others. I’m most proud of maintaining my 100+ weight loss for 15 plus years and teaching others how they can do the same. Even after losing 100lbs, I was still considered a heavyset as a personal trainer. But I knew my craft and my ability to help others lose weight, get fit, and perform better was improving daily. I knew I had a long way to go, but I studied daily. Books on mindset, movement, mobility, biomechanics, and how to effectively communicate were the areas I felt would set me apart from the rest.

I had an opportunity to work in corporate wellness for 10+ years with a large fast-food company and learned to provide second-mile service to employees looking to lose weight and get in shape. The key is understanding your customer journey and helping them navigate through daily obstacles, keeping them accountable while striving to reach their SMART goals.

I’ve learned that everyone knows what to do when it comes to living a healthier more active lifestyle. We need more accountability and guidance. Even the greatest athletes need a coach and accountability. When you find what works for your lifestyle, you will thrive and it will easily be a part of your daily routine.

What sets me apart is my ability to relate, guide, and encourage former athletes and busy professionals who know what it takes to get in shape but need accountability. I want the world to know that every day is an opportunity to get started even at a young age. My brand is incorporating fitness as a lifestyle, having fun while being active and getting results. Success will come as long as the behavioral habits support their outcome goals and they stay more consistent than not.

Stop dreaming of one day and start on Day 1.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

To show my friends a great time, I would take them to a couple of my favorite places.

1. Set up a game or two at The Putt Shack or Top Golf. Depending on the mood.
2. Mario Andretti go-cart racing and play adult games.
3. Take a party bus around the city
4. The Battery to go shop, eat, and explore the park.
5. Mercedes Benz Stadium and attend an Atlanta United Soccer Game or any Professional Sport in season.

There are so many places in the area to show them a great time. Depending on their likes, I would cater to making sure they have a great time and that we create lifelong memories.
